Hot Tips

  • Start thinking about the reasons WHY you want what you want, to make sure you get it. One of the main reasons you can fail to achieve your goals is that you focus on WHAT you want and maybe HOW you're going to get it, but not WHY you want it. Without enough WHY, your motivation can easily slip.
  • Work out specifically WHAT it is you want, so you are really clear about what you are aiming for. You might decide you want a new house, but what style? How many bedrooms? With a garden? If so, how big? Where will the house be? The clearer and more specific you can be about what it is you want, the more likely you are to achieve it.
  • Break down your goals into small individual steps, showing you HOW you are going to achieve - it will be less daunting and more 'do-able'. This is the part that many people struggle with. They see the end goal and can get frightened off by the amount of work they need to do. Each goal starts first with a small step and it's the small steps that start the change.
  • Ask yourself, 'WHAT IF I actually succeed?' This is a big question as, although a goal may appear to be what you want, what will it really mean to you if you achieve it? The answers to this question can sort out your true goals in life.
  • Put your goal in a timeline for simple tracking of your progress. Give each goal an individual time scale, so that you can look at it and can quickly and easily see the progress you are making towards your goal.
  • Record your results and improve your performance in the future. I'm sure you already set goals, but do you actually take a note of your results and your mistakes and learn from them?
  • Enjoy the support of a personal professional life coach supplying guidance and motivation. I will help keep you on track and give you advice and tips about your excuses, motivation and any secondary gains. You are more than capable of doing all this by yourself but the results will come a lot quicker if you work along with me.
  • Learn to celebrate your successes. Learn how to give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy re-visiting your achievements. This process if done correctly will make your confidence grow and grow and you will have the self belief and determination to get to where you want to go far quicker, while enjoying the journey.
  • Become your own coach by learning from your experiences. Yet another benefit of having your own personal professional life coach is the ability to then use the key lessons you learn about your thoughts, feelings and how to successfully approach and achieve any future actions or goals. You will learn how to overcome your own excuses and any negative thoughts and emotions you may have had in the past.
  • Why don't you give me a call now? What have you got to lose? The first session is free. I'll explain what Life Coaching is all about and then you can make the decision if it's for you. You are the boss of your own life; you are more than capable of achieving what you want in life but most people benefit from nudges in the right direction. Look forward to speaking to you!
